The stock market behavior of the very same hungry consumers is very different. They inevitably buy when prices are high and they buy quantity @ high prices.
As an investment thinker i have always wondered why many of us fail to carry the same mindset into our investment process. If only we manage our investment buying the same way we do our value-shopping , investors would certainly be richer.
BIG BAZAAR sales come periodically and predictably. The buyer only needs to step in there and is sure to find the best prices. The consumer is actually sure that he is buying @ prices which may not come again anytime soon. SALE TIME sees happy consumers walk into shop with their loved ones in tag.
THE STOCK MARKET SALE is unpredictable. You never know when it will happen. Even when it is on, you are not so sure if prices can get cheaper. You cant be sure when THE SALE will end. The buyers are hardly cheerful @ SALE time. Actually, there is gloom all around.Everybody is running scared of cheap prices.
The smart shoppers are few and far between. The majority abstains from THE SALE.
WHY ? SHOULD WE NOT BE BUYING THE STOCKS @ SALE TIME ? HOW DO WE DO IT ?
It is not very difficult for each of us to participate in this sale. All we need to do is to keep cash ready. Know what we want to buy. Set prices which we believe are cheap. And simply go out and shop no matter what others are doing.
Unlike the BIG BAZAAR SALE of consumer goods, THE STOCK MARKET SALE will be free from crowds , howlers, radio/ TV ads and in-store campaigns.
Few people will be talking about stocks. The majority will ignore the markets @ sale time.
There was a SALE IN THE STOCK MARKET 2 weeks ago. There probably will be a few more . If you missed the last one, maybe you should gear up to participate in the next one.
